There are a lot of things I like and just as many things I don’t like. Music and especially talented artists certain top the list of things I do like. Obviously. Talking about myself is by far the thing I dislike the most, so I’ll make it brief. My number one passion in life, aside from my family that will always come first, is music. I guess looking back, the music entertainment world has always fascinated me. Would I have had any kind of talent, I probably wouldn’t be writing these “freelance” reviews. Instead I would be holding a microphone and giving it my all in front of a frenetic audience. But my voice is off-key when I speak, let alone when I sing. That explains partly why I am in such awe when in presence of greatness. So I spent most of my life in an office doing 9 to 5 until one day I said “enough”. Now I’m a stay at home – happily divorced – woman who instead of being front runner on stage attempts to the best of her abilities to promote “other’s” talent with the help of this amazing media which is the web.
In other words, I’m a self proclaimed webmaster and designer with no technical training but a great sense of what fans want. Because that is what I am first and foremost: a fan! So I create and operate fan sites for artists that have found a way to my heart and ignited my passion. Music is my oxygen. My two latest achievements are also the ones that are closest to my heart. Coincidentally, they both transpired from the Rockstar series.
Rockstar INXS that gave us JD Fortune on a silver platter last year was my first real passion. From it was born HARDSTAR-INXS.
And now Rockstar Supernova that propelled Lukas Rossi into a world of stardom he was long overdue for forced me to create The Lukas Rossi Connection. So where does my allegiance lie? JD Fortune or Lukas Rossi? The answer is simple. To both. Those two are gems in a rock (no pun intended). One does not compare a diamond to a sapphire. The only thing these two have in common is the fact that they are both Canadian. Just like myself. Is it why they are the object of my affection? Well of course not! Simply because they are by far the best thing that has happened to the entertainment world in a long time. Case closed!

wHY ARE THE WAITING SO LONG TO PLAY A FRICKEN SHOW THE SHOULD HAVE STARTED RIGHT AFTER SUPERNOVA WHEN EVERY ONE WAS ON THE LUKAS HIGH NOW THAT IT’S BEEN SO LONG THE HYPE COOLS ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE THEY WANT 4 THERE TICKETS…IF THE CAME TO MORE CANADIAN CITYS I WOULD FORK IT OVER BUT I LIVE IN KELOWNA .. HI, First time writing in. I have Lukas songs playing in the car and while I usually flip from one CD to the next, I’ve been playing his constantly. I should qualify that I play his Rise Electric, Cleavage and Rockstar SN Show performances – in other words, not too keen on the SN.
I went to see Lukas in Montreal and just wished he were a solo star playing his own music. I don’t think SN is bringing him down, but I do believe he can do better than the entourage he is currently SUPPORTING!! My two cents.
Is there any way that Lukas reads these? I just wanted to give him a real Rock heartfelt thanks.
